Introduction

Goals
ASP.NET 4.0 is part of the Microsoft® .NET Framework 4.0 technology. One of the main characteristics of ASP.NET 4.0 is the “Web Forms”- technology, that introduces “Event-driven Programming” to the WEB, in which the flow of the program is determined by events. Other important component of .NET is WCF (Windows Communication Services) which represents an application program interface for building connected, service-oriented applications. Of course, there is the inevitable ADO.NET which trough the Entity Framework represents completely modernized work with database , in a highly distributed environment like the Internet and the Intranet.
